Michael Thompson, GRI, CRS Photo Michael Thompson, GRI, CRS          Email: mike@buyvail.com

It was 1991 when I received my BA of Economics from the University of Colorado. The day I left Boulder, not ready to commit to the "real job," I chose to take I-70 west to the Vail Valley. What was supposed to be one or two years of fun and games has become even more. The opportunity of a "real life in a non-real world" appeared quite amazing, and I believed this Vail Valley resort to be booming. Just as the Winter season was the reason to come, the Summertime quickly became just another reason to stay. My passion for other people's homes presented the remarkable idea of "doing what I love." Furthermore, the opportunity of a "real job" in this seemingly non-real world challenged my ideals to move on. The results have proved, and have proven over the past 9 years, that doing what you love is most important. My choice to make a career and a life in real estate sales and consulting, still proves magical today. More than just helping others buy and sell Vail Valley real estate, I am also a real estate investor and manage my own income producing properties. I know rental figures and the numbers and benefits behind investment real estate. I find great pride in helping others accomplish their Vail Valley real estate goals. Now, it is something I do everyday.

David Whitman Photo David Whitman          Email: whitman@vail.net

Dave moved to the Vail Valley in 91' from Tucson, Arizona, where he served as a corporate manager for Sheraton & ITT at The El Conquistador, a premier golf & tennis resort. In 93' he earned a brokers license and began a career in resort real estate. As a working/playing resident within Beaver Creek's village for the last 9 years, Dave has experienced first-hand the major developments of the three sister resorts: Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead. He has enjoyed world-class sporting events, the finest in entertainment & gourmet dinning and many episodes of chest-deep powder in Royal Elk Glades! You could not find a better person to introduce you to the mountains or to the villages of the area. With past college years spent in Europe, and much of that time climbing and skiing in the Alps, Dave feels very much at home in Beaver Creek.."Where western hospitality meets European charm!" You'll find Dave's love & affection for the entire valley overly contagious. Without debate, Dave's expertise is primarily with Beaver Creek and other enclaves of the second home market found around the Vail Valley. Although a concentration is placed on vacation homes, Dave glows with satisfaction when assisting one of his many local friends in finding their dream of homeownership. Years of leadership within the hospitality industry have allowed Dave a special focus that sets him apart from others; this is his work ethic and drive to provide the best possible service for his clients! This goal is not central to locating a perfect residence then negotiating an agreement, but to follow-up after a transaction and ensure customer satisfaction.
